2016 Hearts of Gold to benefit cardiovascular services at LMH

We're really putting some heart into the 2016 Hearts of Gold Ball.

The April 8 black-tie event will benefit cardiovascular services at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. This year the Hearts of Gold will be at Corpus Christi, 6001 Bob Billings Parkway, Lawrence.

Tickets now are on sale at HeartsOfGoldBall.com. Reserved tables for 10 guests are $2,000. Individual tickets for open seating are $175. Seating is limited to 500 guests.

Here's the agenda for April 8:

6:45 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: Cocktails and Silent Auction

7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.: Dinner

8:30 p.m.: Live Auction

9:30 p.m.: Dancing to the music of Dave Halston and The Little Big Band

The planned renovation to the Cath Lab and the enhancements to cardiovascular services will cost approximately $2 million. The improvements will provide more room for patients and their families. In addition, new equipment will reduce exposure to radiation for patients as well as LMH physicians and staff; and it will create higher-quality images.

We appreciate your support of those enhancements, which will help ensure that high-quality cardiac care continues to be available in our community.
