Committees

A committee-based structure provides assistance and recommendations to this leadership body regarding decisions and the daily activities of the LMH Endowment Association.

Executive Committee

Officers of the Board of Directors make up this committee, which is appointed to act in place of the board in emergency situations. Responsibilities include formulating and implementing policies for the operations and procedures of the Association. This committee establishes funding priorities and reviews requests for distribution of funds.

Finance Committee

This committee monitors, reviews and reports the association's financial activities monthly. Members evaluate the audit firm and investment advisor on a regular basis.

Audit Committee (Finance Sub-Committee)

This committee is a standing committee and consists of board members and community members with knowledge and/or experience with the auditing process.

Investment Committee (Finance Sub-Committee)

This committee provides oversight of the investment management of LMHEA funds.

Income Distribution Committee (Finance Sub-Committee)

This committee calculates and determines the annual distribution of funds held within LMHEA and makes recommendations to the finance committee.

Governance Committee

This standing committee of the LMHEA Board of Directors has primary responsibility for recruiting, orienting and retaining volunteer leadership for the association and identifying potential board or committee members.

Major & Planned Gifts Committee

Members of this committee have specific expertise in estate planning and planned/deferred giving. They are responsible for identifying individuals, businesses and organizations that are potential donors to the association.
